Our Program

Welcome to South Burnaby Parent Participation Preschool (SBPPP). Our preschool is a member of the Council of Parent Participation Preschools of BC. http://www.cpppreschools.bc.ca/

Philosophy

Our preschool aims to:

• promote the principles of parent participation in preschool education; 
• provide a high standard of preschool education in which children through play develop socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually;
• encourage and facilitate opportunities for parents to observe and learn about the development, needs and behaviour of children.

Preschool times and fees:

*** 3 HOURS CLASS STARTING SEPTEMBER 2011 *** 

• Our preschool operates Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9:15 am to 12:15 pm

• Non-refundable registration fee of $68 for the school year

• Tution fee (monthly): $98 for 2 days/week and $136 for 3 days/week

• Families are required to contribute $150 annually by donation or through fundraising efforts with the preschool

•The Provincial Daycare Subsidy is available for eligible families

Field trips
There are approximately 6 - 8 field trips per year tying in the curriculum set out by the teacher. These are usually at no, or a low additional cost. Most field trips are made with all children accompanied by their parents. In some cases, people make personal arrangements to send their child with another parent.
